As you might know; Japanese language usually omits pronouns, till now Majenka never used the word “I” (atashi/watashi) as it is. She sometimes spoke as “we” or just plainly omits pronouns like normal Japanese does. But what’s normal in Japanese it’s not that much in English. We decided for the fluidity of reading to keep the pronouns and because it’s almost impossible to leave them outside the sentences without making her lines sound retarded.
