I have good news and bad news.
The good new is that we got a more of chapter 5 of the light novel for you! With this we finished chapter 5.
The bad news is that the manga will be in a long hiatus until further notice because Yukimura Alto pulled a Sugisaki and started an original series called “Collette decides to die”. I am not judging the series or complaining about it, it’s just that she could have finished Ginzatoushi to Kuro no Yousei before starting another whole project.
And don’t forget to stup by at Icarus Bride to thank as well for her awesome translation and hard work!

aww it’s such a shame that the manga is in hiatus since I actually like reading it, well hopefully she will resume it soon~
I’m not convinced that the series is on hiatus… The author never announced that. It’s possible to write two series at once. I think Hana to Yume Online is the one who decides when new chapters are released, not the authors. I wouldn’t be surprised if the next chapter is ready and Hana to Yume Online is just holding it back.
Ah yes that makes sense. I know that HtY online is a free manga site for new mangakas to publish their works (and test the series’ popularity?). Perhaps Sugar Apple Fairy Tale didn’t get many feedback/buzz :/
